How to get the best Cup of Tea?
The quality of the tea, water, and preparation are crucial for making the best cups of tea.
The fundamental rule of making tea is to boil the water before adding the tea, not the other way around.
(i) Using a dry spoon, place the tea leaves in a heated, dry teapot.
(ii) One teaspoon (2.5gm) every cup and an additional teaspoon for the teapot.
(iii) Add freshly boiled water.
(iv) Keep the tea pot covered with a lid for 3 to 5 minutes (per your taste) during the brewing process to ensure that the tea leaves are properly infused.
(v) Remove the cover and thoroughly whisk the tea.
(vi) Pour into the glasses/cups and top with milk, honey, sugar, or lemon as needed.
Store in an air tight tin/glass container for best results but not in a plastic container.
